Twenty hours of manual work before funding can begin
Hong Kong SMEs navigate fragmented grants and loans while manually unifying data from unstructured sources such as bilingual bank statements.
Founders could spend more than 20 hours transcribing English and Chinese statements into grant forms, introducing errors and making eligibility harder to prove.

Scope, prototype and ship in one week
Rapid competitor research on document workflow tools helped scope the MVP. I prototyped the full flow in Figma, prioritized engineering work around accuracy and created launch materials to test user appetite.
